Star Colleges has recorded a 100% matric pass rate in the 2025 National Senior Certificate examinations, delivering strong performances across key gateway subjects, particularly mathematics, science and technology.

The institution said the results reflect sustained academic excellence across its campuses, with learners performing well not only in high-demand subjects but across the full curriculum.

More than 90% of matriculants achieved Bachelor passes, qualifying the vast majority of learners for admission to university degree programmes. The 2025 cohort also achieved hundreds of distinctions, with several top-performing learners securing eight or more distinctions.

Star Colleges reported particularly strong outcomes in mathematics, physical sciences, life sciences and technology-related subjects, areas widely regarded as critical for entry into science, commerce and technology-focused tertiary studies.

  • Life Sciences: Strong outcomes with distinction rates of up to 46% in certain cohorts.

  • Advanced Programme Mathematics: Distinctions achieved, confirming strong performance among learners pursuing extended mathematics.

  • Information Technology: Outstanding performance, with distinction rates of over 70% in some cohorts.

  • Computer Applications Technology: Distinction rates reaching 75%, highlighting applied digital competence.

  • Engineering Graphics and Design: Solid distinction outcomes, demonstrating technical and analytical proficiency.

Beyond mathematics and science, the institution recorded consistent achievement in languages, commercial subjects, religious studies, creative arts and tourism, contributing to balanced academic outcomes across disciplines.
