R&B favourite Ella Mai is heading to South Africa this April, with two highly anticipated live shows set to bring her smooth vocals to local stages.

Grammy Award-winning R&B singer Ella Mai joins a growing list of international artists who will be making their way to Mzansi this year. The singer is set to light up stages in South Africa this April with two exclusive performances.
The R&B star, known for hits such as “Boo’d Up” and “Trip”, will perform at Sun City this year on April 25 before heading to Grand Arena at Grand West in Cape Town on April 26.
Since her rise in the music scene in 2014, the songstress has built a global following with a string of chart-topping hits.
She has captured hearts worldwide with her smooth vocals and impeccable songwriting. “Boo’d Up” earned her a Grammy Award for “Best R&B Song” in 2019, while “Trip” became a chart-topping single that further cemented her status in R&B.
With the release of her third studio album, “Do You Still Love Me?”, on February 6, Mai continues to affirm her place in contemporary R&B.
The 31-year-old British singer’s performance at the Sun City Superbowl will be the highlight of the three-day “Konka Kulture Weekend”, presented in collaboration with “Vertex Events”, the sole host of the Cape Town show. Tickets are already available online.
Mai’s highly anticipated upcoming shows are expected to draw strong crowds as the singer might showcase her latest project, “Do You Still Love Me?”, live on stage.
This visit will be one for the books for local R&B enthusiasts who will get to experience her electrifying live performance up close.
Mai will be joined on stage by some of Mzansi’s biggest artists, including Sjava, Nasty C, Zee Nxumalo, Uncle Waffles, Oscar Mbo and Scorpion Kings.
