Streaming giant Hulu has officially picked up a new series, "Count My Lies", set to star Shailene Woodley alongside the iconic Lindsay Lohan.

This series is based on a novel written by Sophie Stava and is being developed by former "This Is Us" showrunners, Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.

The show has been in development since April, with Woodley and Lohan serving as executive producers in addition to starring roles.

The official storyline introduces us to Sloane Caraway, portrayed by Woodley, a compulsive liar who tricks her way into becoming a nanny for the glamorous Violet, played by Lohan, and her husband, Jay Lockhart.

It looks like Caraway has finally landed her dream job, but she is completely unaware that the family she is working for is hiding a web of secrets that could lead to chaos.

"Little does Sloane know, she’s just entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode - with potentially catastrophic consequences for all," read the official logline.

This announcement comes right after Lohan's successful return to the big screen in "Freakier Friday", where she reprised her role from the 2003 movie, and had a great opening weekend at the box office.

Meanwhile, Woodley is expanding her resume, as "Count My Lies" becomes her second Hulu series, following her role in the second season of "Paradise".

The show is being produced by Disney’s 20th Television with Aptaker and Berger adapting the novel into a limited series and overseeing the production.

Stava will also be involved as a producer.
